BD11 Glossybox Unboxing

So for todays post I thought I would talk about my Glossybox delivery.

Every month I receive my Glossybox and for those of you who don't know what Glossybox is it is a subscription service that you order in lots of different ways, such as paying monthly, three or six monthly, yearly etc! It is delivered to you every month In the post and it comes gorgeously packaged!! It comes in the most gorgeous box which I reuse for different things such as storage, to put gifts in and lots of different things and I love that its reusable and doesn't just get chucked!

In the boxes you get at least 5 products for various different things, there's sometimes skincare, makeup and body care products and variety too that but every month is different and its a really good way to try new products and discover possible favourites that you wouldn't usually try or even know about.

This month was a Christmas special, as you see from the pictures the box was beautifully designed it had a green leaf kind of pattern and then gold leafed writing saying "mince pies, starry skies" and then emerald green tissue paper and gold ribbion. It feels very Christmassy and I like it a lot more than last years.

In the box it had a card as always and there was also an extra card with 20% discount for an Irish paper company that make cards and prints. The code is GLOSSYBOXDUSTYBOY and the website is www.dustyboydesigns.ie .

The first thing in this month box is the Soaper Duper rich and creamy body wash. I feel like this is perfect for Christmas as it has the moisturiser to help with dry skin in the winter months and it smells super festive too! Also it may just be me but I think the packaging is quite Christmas tree like!! haha.

The Second thing in this edition was a very luxurious skin cleanse. This retails at £26 it is by Naobay and is a gel to milk cleanser which smells amazing. I'm really looking forward to trying this as I love trying new things which is what I love about glossybox and also I love the value of it as I would never spend £26 on something id never tried, but this may be my new fav product so it is quite a good idea.

In this box there is then three makeup items with all been full sized and in gorgeous gold packaging which I feel added to the festivities off this box. One product is something I've never tried and is a 3D lash primer the idea been you put it on before your mascara and is said to thicken and length your lashes before mascara so when you apply it lashes look a lot fuller than usual. I'm excite to try this as I love long lashes but mine aren't too good so I wear falsies so we shall see!

The next product is a gorgeous LAQA & CO cloud lips lipstick, which is in the gorgeous gold packaging. It's like a slopped chubby crayon that is super creamy and just so lovely! Its a nudey/pink which is my favourite shade and again should be £12.70 so is again worth it so much!

The final item is a Steve Laurant eyeliner, it is also in the gold packaging and is the most gorgeous dark black precision liner, I don't use liner that much but when I do I like it too be black and good colour that you only need one layer. The swatch I've done looks so lovely so I'm looking forward to trying it along with the lash primer!

I love this box and in fact think its my favourite even though I have loved all of them I just love the makeup bits and the skin cleanser. I think that the idea is for that Christmas party and I think the lipstick would be perfect for a Christmas look. Also the box would be great for storage or for gifts which is what I like about glossybox, I have used a lot for organising my medical supplies and they look lovely. Its such good value for £10 a month (although you can get 50% student discount which is amazing at £5 a box) and is a lovely surprise/pick me up each month that I always forgot about till it arrives!

I hope you have enjoyed hearing about this months box and can always do it each month! Also would be a perfect gift, either the one box or a subscription! Hope you have also enjoyed the last few days of Blogmas and shall se you at 6 o'clock tomorrow!

Evie x
