BD1 Its finally here..

So December is finally here!!!! I cant explain how excited I am for Christmas and for advent for a start. Its not just Christmas day that I love its the run up too it, getting excited doing Christmas activities and just preparing for the big day and then after Christmas day there's boxing day and new year and the cosy days in between! I thought for todays post id just talk about my advent calendars and just introduce you my Blogmas. I've got lots of exciting things to look forward too and looking forward to the festivities.

So I guess the first thing is Advent calendars, what would be December and Christmas without advent calendars. This year I've got two beauty calendars, one is the Tanya Burr 12 sweet days calendar, I've had it for the past 2 years so I guess its a little bit of a tradtion, the other one is the sleek 25 day calendar. I've seen some videos on all the 100s of calendars and did my research as there would be nothing worse than opening up the door on a morning and been disappointed. So I watched some videos and the sleek one seems to have lots of lipsticks and good makeup items and some super cute eyeshadow palettes, some of the calendars are just full of rubbish like hand creams and nail files and over priced! So I'd recommend if your unsure on what calendars to get if your in the market for them then just YouTube the ones your looking at to see if it looks good. I'm not going to open them as it will ruin the surprise for me and then wont be able to open them on the day!

I also have always had this fabric advent calendar that we fill with chocolates, like the Christmas tins and usually heroes as there the best!! So this year as tradition I have filled it but probably wont eat it but its tradition so it has to be done!! My calendar also has a little string with a Santa on the end and then you move it along counting down the days to Christmas day when Santa comes!!

This month is looking super busy and I guess its only going to get busier! I have already put my Christmas bedding on and I've put a couple of decorations up but I'll be finishing them when we put the tree and rest of the house decorations up. I got my bedding from Asda, my Christmas slogan cushions are from Matalan and the others are Primark and so is my throw. Don't worry when we do put up all the decorations ill be doing a full post on them as well as the tree picking! We always get a real tree and the excitement of choosing the tree, getting it in the car and putting it up at home and then cleaning up needles for the next three weeks is just AMAZING and so is the smell!

So Advent had began and so has Blogmas, there will be a post everyday at 6pm from now through till Christmas, there all different topics, some are beauty, lifestyle,health and festivities. There also will be giveaways and just general Christmas excitement. I'm working really hard and hope you all enjoy them as much as I am making them and taking all the pictures.
